Cinco De Mopar, 2015 presented by Gold Medal Products and Bosak Performance along with Monster Mopar Weeeknd, is a charitable automotive event held annually in Lafayette, IN.  The 2015 event will celebrate the 4th year of uniting Mopar owners to share their passion and generosity.  In 2014, with the help of sponsors like The Finer Details and Bosak Performance, Cinco De Mopar had over 120 cars and we were able to raise over $1,000 for the American Cancer Society!

The event will again feature a 50/50 raffle, limited edition dash plaques, and some special awards.  In 2015, our friends and loved ones will once again benefit from Cinco De Mopar proceeds through donations to the American Cancer Society, and a newly added organization the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

Car participation is limited to Mopar vehicles (Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Fiat, Ram, SRT, Plymouth, AMC, Desoto, etc)

The event is open to the public for spectators.

There is no cost to attend but the dash plaques are a $5 donation.  If you pre-register you get first crack at the plaques.

Thinking there will be a cruise down again but no details yet.

I am working on getting the same hotel set up again so we will be staying overnight for those that want to stay over.
NOT leaving early the next day, probably will stay until we have to check out at 11 am EST.
Then cruise over to Triple X for lunch then we will cruise back up to Chicago.


So if anyone that stayed at the hotel had an issue with it last year speak up now or this is where we will be staying again.

Stay away from the shots at noon and you should be ok.

Yeah this time I think we should hold off with the drinking until we get to the hotel. I think we will have a few other peeps from other groups coming with us this time.

Ok the hotel is working on getting me rates and stuff and should be calling tomororw. For those that are thinking about going can you let me know if you are thinking overnight as well so I can get a ballpark number of rooms for the block.

For those that are on Facebook there is a poll in the Offical Cinco event. Work is being done on the cruise down. Normally its a run from Lowell to Lafayette down 65. With the push to have more old school show up this year the cruise might be adjusted. Please go vote and give feedback if you have any.

For those not on Facebook if you would like to give feedback here I can make sure it gets to the proper people. They are asking should they do two cruises, one on the back roads for the old school and the normal one on the interstate for the modern cars. Or combine them together and do a backroads cruise down.

The goal for Cinco is to try to get just as many classic Mopars out at this then we get with the newer stuff. So if you know someone with a older Mopar please make sure to mention this to them.

The hotel has still not called me back, will be calling them here again to see if I can get anywhere.

I have flyers to post to this, will do after work. Still working on the hotel. More and more things being planned, cannot wait for this.

Finally heard back from the hotel. Got all the info and will be sending me a quote so hopefully info soon this week.

Just signed, scanned, and emailed the hotel agreement back to Four Points. I think Monday people can start calling to reserve rooms. Will post all the details then. I can tell you it will be $99 +tax just like last year.
