3rd annual Chicagoland Challenger Meet n Greet - Downers Grove - 5/9/2015

Hey all you Chicagoland Challenger owners, it’s getting to be time to start planning for our 3rd annual Chicagoland Meet n Greet.

Last year we had a huge turnout of over 70 plus Challengers and Chargers from all over the Chicagoland area as well as our some of our friends from Indiana and Southern Illinois. I am pretty sure everyone had a great time talking cars and mods, meeting new people and putting faces to screen names! I know I did.
This year I’d like to see if we can put together another “Meet n Greet” for Saturday May 9th 2015, say 1:00 PM. I do realize this is Mother’s Day weekend, but hopefully we can still get a good turnout since Mother’s Day is on Sunday. T

As for the location, unfortunately for this year they decided to put in a Starbucks in the corner of the parking lot we have used for the past 2 years and really cut into the number of available parking spaces. We are still looking to have the meet in this same area as it seems to be a good midway point for most attendees. I wanted to get this out there so some of you can start making plans. We will finalize a location in the next week or so and post it here with directions and a map.

On Facebook all the four doors said we are going to park across the lot and make them walk over to look at our cars.

I might join my 4 door brothers and sisters

He has a different Jeep now. If we are welcome would love to come out and hang, it was a nice meet, was windy though so hoping that is not a repeat.

Of course you are ALL welcome and yes it was a little cold, but after this winter anything will be good.

BTW - I will be going with you guys to Cinco de Mopar, but I'm not parking ANYWHERE near any F...ing umbrellas!

No I can assure you nowhere near the umbrellas.

Yep that was mine. Irish Brothers paid me out and she is all fixed and better now, but I will forever hate umbrellas........

I will try to swing by this one but don't get off of work till 6 if anyone will still be around by then

Keep checking back I know they are debating on moving it due to the expected weather on Saturday. I will update this thread as anything changes.

If it's on, I'm planning on being there.

Its REALLY looking like its going to get moved.

Bummer. We will be celebrating our Mother's on Saturday so we will have to miss this. I'm definitely going to make it one year. I promise.
