Boston Acoustics 8" sub replacement Empty
PostSubject: Boston Acoustics 8" sub replacement    Boston Acoustics 8" sub replacement I_icon_minitimeSeptember 27th 2015, 3:22 pm

Yesterday I replaced my stock Boston Acoustics 8" sub which had blown with an 8" Rockford fosgate P2D4-8 punch wired 2ohm wow what a difference...never knew it could sound this good! I was able to squeeze it in the stock setup and didn't have to remove the top side panels because the back deck will slide out without removing them...only have to take two side cushions and lower side panels off and adjust the screw hole on one just make sure you use the trim ring otherwise the metal mesh on back deck will fu the speaker...the bottom cover bows out just a little but still seals up and the difference in sound on the 368 watts system if night and day without any other changes and sub not even broke in yet well worth the work!
