This time tomorrow we will be meeting at the oasis!

Please remember if anyone needs to cancel their hotel room you have to do it before 2 pm CST today. After that we are in the 24 hours to check in window and you are stuck!

Ok just a heads up.  When we meet with all the other groups at the truck stop Paul is going to take over leading stuff.  About 5 mins before we are going to roll out I am going to go park on the side of the road so I can video everyone leaving. Then I will catch up.  Just wanted you guys to know in case you see me leaving without everyone.

It took a few rotations of the light to get everyone out last time and we are going to have a lot more cars this time.  So no rush on leaving. But looking at the satellite image (dont judge me) and there is a way out if you go on the other side of the parking lot. So if anyone wanted to try to get out that way it might be a good option to take. There is not a light though.

I am planning on sitting right where you guys turn to get onto the interstate so I can catch everyone coming from under the overpass and then making the turn (praying no one powerslides into my car). Wish I had a better camera.

One more bump for tomorrow.

Meeting at the parking structure, but the address if for Durty Nellies which is next door.
Meet on the top of the parking structure.  
I will be over there around 6:30 am 180 N Smith St, Palatine, IL 60067
7 AM I leave so get here by then or you will play catch up.
Its an hour to the oasis, taking 290 to 294 for anyone that would like to meet up along the way.

CAMM Southern Meeting Spot

I-80/294 (Tri-State Tollway) near South Holland Mile Marker 1.0
Its about a 40 min drive from there so lets meet at 8 am CST, roll out by 815 am CST.
Taking 65 down if anyone wants to meet up along the way.

Main cruise meeting spot
I-65 at the Lowell exit (route 2, Indiana I-65 Exit 240)Truck-Flying J Travel Plaza, 0.026 mi east of Exit 1. Has a Large parking lot to gather in, with out getting in the way. Can refuel and get a bathroom break in, and then off we go.  Meeting at 9 am CST, departing 930 am CST

Heading down I-65 to SR 38 (exit 168) that will put us at the meet by 11:30 am EST.

For those staying I am going to head over as soon as the show clears out.  I am not planning on leaving the hotel once there.  They have a restuaurant and bar on site and there are a few places within walking distance.


Sunday Plan

Checkout by 9 am meet in the parking lot.
Cruise over to https://www.triplexxxfamilyrestaurant.com/ for breakfast.
Cash only.  
They have bottles of root beer if anyone wants to load up. BTW.
I am going to try to reach out to them to see about parking when we get there.  
I think right now I have a count of 9 CAMM cars staying overnight.
Once we are all done eating and visiting we will cruise back north and people will drop off as they need.


Questions let me know.

Well I'm ready. Got my truck looking respectable. Hopefully no rain overnight so the roads are dry in the morning.

Those that are going I have created a group message thingy on my phone I will text everyone when we leave Palatine. If anyone is running late for any of the stops just plan on going to the last one.
