Lafayette is an Hour ahead of us up here in the NWI area.

We will depart the Flying "J" no latter that 8:15 A.M. CT
Will allow a 2 HR drive on the back roads to arrive at the event aprox 11:15 am ET.

So while I am thinking about this going to post, normally for Cinco we have a CAMM meeting spot then we roll in together to join Paul AT Nwimopar's cruise down. This year I will NOT be doing the cruise down, I will already be in Lafayette on Friday.

I have no problem setting up the meeting place and time like we normally do at the oasis but I need someone to be the one to make sure the timeline is stuck to and leads down to the main meeting spot. Once you get to the Flying J Paul takes over as the leader.

If anyone would like to step up and do this please let me know. Or if you guys would just rather not meet at the Oasis and everyone just get to Flying J at the correct time. Looking for feedback.
When it comes to parking at the show just park wherever you can find a spot. There are going to be cool Mopars everywhere so you won't have a bad spot. If you are in line with each other as you roll in that should increase your chances of parking together.

CAMM Meeting Spot

It is 38 mins from the Oasis to Flying J. But I want to give you all plenty of time and plus I know a few people who like to run late.

Marc you guys need to leave by 7 AM (no later than 715 am)

So I suggest if you are going to be needing to get gas, food, bathroom breaks get to the oasis with time to do so. You can also do all of those same things at the Flying J and you will have almost 45 mins there by time you guys get there.


Once you get to Flying J Paul from NWIMopar will take over leading. Depending on the weather he will either be in his old school Charger or his Hurst Pak Challenger, pics of both are posted in the "Show Off Your Ride " post on the Cinco Facebook page. The cruise is going to be all backroads so if you decide you are taking the interstate down then you are own your own.  Please wait until the backroads cruise has left before you leave Flying J.

The backroads route is still being put together, will update when I can. Once the route is posted I suggest each person print it out in case there is separation through any of the towns.

2. i will follow whatever other people do. i followed everybody who took the interstate last year. i was fine with that and you get there earlier to get better parking i guess. so either way is fine.

For those that are going to go interstate vs the official cruise you are basically on your own.  
Just wait until the backroads cars leave then hit it.

Put 3520 State Road 38 E, Lafayette, Indiana 47905 in your GPS.  
It will probably try to take you another route but I usually go down to exit 168 that is for IN- 38 which is the road the show is off of.  Go right off the exit ramp onto 38 and follow it down for 4 miles and the show is on the right.

You guys can try to stay together or cannonball it up but don't see flashing lights on the way down.  Watch out for dumbasses.  

Paul is going to do a drivers meeting at 8 am at Flying J.

For those that are taking the back roads trip down you will get a parking pass for a reserved spot when you get to the show. So if you are worried about where you are going to park I would go back roads and enjoy the drive down.

If you are taking the interstate down you need leave before he does the drivers meeting or wait until the cruise leaves so there is no confusion on the route. Paul should have turn by turn directions for the cruise down as well.

Remember that the show starts at 11 am EST (10 am CST) so if you leave Flying J at 9 am EST (8 am CST) you are going to get to the show grounds almost an hour before it starts (1 hour 12 mins down 65 but I know you guys.... ) Set up might not be complete yet so just keep that in mind.


For those not on Facebook due to the insurance he has to get no EZ ups will be allowed in the lot. He is allowing on a first come first serve basis EZ ups on the grass areas and one tent to a club to help with room. I asked on Facebook and no one feels we need an EZ up and I agree, its going to be in the low 70's and inside the bar is shady.

I think the place where you all hung out last year (next to my car in the 9 Irish brothers lot up by the road) is fine, there are trees there and it is shady so will try to toss a few chairs there when those of us that are setting up get on site Saturday morning.

Any questions before the cruise please let me know, Marc is leading down from the oasis to Flying J then after that its Paul's cruise.

Might meet at Flying J just to bullshit with everyone. But I'm taking the interstate and don't plan on going any slower than 85mph.

Yeah I said it on FB yall are more than welcome to stop at Flying J and take pics and stuff. I went back and re-read and Zach says the lot will be open at 10 am EST so that actually works out pretty good.
