more playing with photoshop... which grill would you guys prefer? thinking about custom fabricating this grill. i know tommy z was making a similar grill a while back but i didn't like how he made the center cross bar square on his. this one would be just like if the factory one had no vertical bar. my truck has a similar grill (like its factory grill just no vertical bar)

I like it Jon. It's different and it looks a little meaner.
I'm not sure... i think the factory one looks meaner. the modded one just looks custom and unique. that's why i can't decide.
maybe I'll just have to fab one up, prime it black and see if i like it. if i can find a cheap non chrome plated grill i might try it. if i don't like it i could just sell it.

so my big mod for the winter is ordered.... excited for it but damn some parts are expensive. at least i saved 100 bux with vendor i ordered it from , their group buy was over but he gave me the group buy price anyways. i try to save up and do one nice mod per winter. last year was the coilovers, this year its the rear end.
ordered a wavetrack diff... http://www.wavetrac.net/technical.htm i should be able to put the power to use a little better coming out of corners now.

Congrats Jon, how hard is the install?
one of the few things i would not do myself. Tim has given me an install price quote and i think i will take him up on that.
if you set up a rear end wrong it can grenade itself. install time should be 4 hours. not a fast install, lol. anyone wanna go watch a movie with me in Mechesney Park while they install it? lol. I'll probably get it done when its a little nicer out and can drive the car up there.

so i decided.... F it.... go big or go home... if I'm gonna have the diff open i might as well just put a 3.55 gear in at the same time and save money in the long run instead of doing the install twice. hope the stock axles can hold up till i can afford to upgrade those... gears are ordered. got an extra 20 bux off at summit with a coupon...

thanks shawn.
Diff showed up today. just waiting on the gears to show up and some warmer weather, summit says they should ship out on the 20th. i guess they were on backorder.

the parts pile gets bigger....
Billet Tech throttle body cover showed up..
and another set of 315/35/20 tires.... i don't need them yet, but they go on back order every summer. so i ordered em up and paid for them ahead of time to just have sit at the shop till i need em. i might need to run the 315's on the autocross this year anyways with the 3.55 gears to get better grip. plus I'm assuming I'll burn my current tires down a few times testing out the new gears anyways... lol.

i probably should have got the mopar m instead of the BT logo engraved... oh well it will look nice either way. just wanted something different on it since i have plenty of SRT logos as it is.

how much clearance to you have with those 315s? my 305 35s rub when it's on a lift, but are fine on the ground. bill
i assume you are talking about the inner fender clearance. mine do rub the inner fender when my car is on a lift but they clear by a ton on the ground. i do have 20x10 rims with an 18mm offset. i had to roll my fenders to clear them on the outer fender since i am pretty low though.
