Buffalo Grove O'Reilly's Auto Parts Annual Spring Charity Car Show

I'm down for a good ole caravan in. I will probably meet at from Vic and Jackies so if anyone wants to meet there and then we can all meet up closer. I talked to other members about this show at the ug and haven't seen them post that they are going here, are you guys planning on going still?

sssuuuurrrreeeee our house is perfect to meet up at. Vic can lead though, he pushes all the traffic outta the way Smile

We can get a south caravan together and then a central point again if needed.

If not we can just straggle in.....

Black Dog is the promoter for the show.

The zip tie joke is because of an incident at one of their shows last year. There was a car there that had its grill ziptied on and it ended up placing and most of our cars didn't. I think I even said if it placed and mine didn't I was selling mine for a hybrid.

Mine will never be show-ready, just clean. Don't sweat it.

does anyone have any meeting spot ideas so we can all roll in together and park in a group

I am thinking someplace over there prolly right down the street would be best. I know I saw a panera on the map but I think its like right next door.

There is a portillos down the street, from what I can remember it has a pretty big lot and there is a light in and out of there so that might be the best place to meet up.

Any objections? If not I will post up a time and the address.

Ok now don't kill the messenger here but I am trying to get my brother to go to this as well and his friend Mike. The only PROBLEM is Mike has a Mustang. I already told him he would have to get a car cover with a picture of a Charger on it.

He can come. He can park with Eric on the other side of the parking lot. Smile

Ok, so those that are meeting at our house first be here by like 7:30/7:45 so we can leave by 8 since it will take about a 1/2 hour to get to the central meet up spot.

I didn't read through the entire thread so if the "new" plan is that we are all only meeting at the central meet up spot, please let me know. (yes, I'm THAT lazy today Smile

)
