Perfect excuse to spend a weekend at my brothers in Kentucky

At the moment with those stops we are in for the long haul again.

Yep I am thinking its going to be the full thing for me. It is 8 hours from my house to the location it ended in 2016 so that will be a haul but should be fun.

As soon as I know more I will post. The rumor is Bowling Green is going to be the end.

The speedway at Joliet is a rumor to and its a goddamn nightmare getting out there on normal days but I have never come at the speedway from the west.

The 15th location seems to be set it is on their website already.

If there is interest from anyone local doing the IL to Indy leg let me know once the locations are posted. Hoping it will be Joliet to Lucas Oil and that is only 3 hours so an easy drive then hotel party in Indy then you can come home.

Are you going to do the entire run?

That is my goal. It all depends on work and if I have a freaking roll out around that time or not. I am going to take my core so I won't have to haul my computer and they can't even call me.

So people are already booking rooms near Kansas Speedway and Lucas Oil.

They also have a non refundable rate but since I am unsure of my plans I went with refundable. This one I can cancel up to the day of check in.

The plan that is in talks is to head over the day before the tour starts. It is about 8 hours from my house to Kansas and to meet up with the group from the south I am going to head to Springfield. Still working on everything but that is the crude plan right now.

Probably have lunch in Springfield and then hit it west. Dunno though.

Planning to Long haul it. Would head to KS on Friday. Rooms booked there and Indy. But you already know that.
