Gateway handed out their paper schedule and surprise surprise HRPT was on there on June 14th.

So we are chancing that as well and booked into the hotel we stayed at back in 2015.

finish are considered the “Long Haulers,” a title they proudly boast. The 2017 HOT ROD

The 2017 HOT ROD Power Tour will kick off on Saturday, June 10 in Kansas City (venue
TBA) and roll through seven cities over the course of seven days.
Following the kick-off event in Kansas City on June 10, additional Power Tour stops will
include:
• Sunday, June 11: Iowa Speedway in Newton, Iowa
• Monday, June 12: Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds in Davenport, Iowa
• Tuesday, June 13: University of Illinois (State Farm Center) in Champaign, Illinois
• Wednesday, June 14: Gateway Motorsports Park in Madison, Illinois
• Thursday, June 15: Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis, Indiana
• FINALE EVENT on Friday, June 16: Bowling Green-Warren County Regional
Airport in Bowling Green, Kentucky
At each stop, the 23rd annual HOT ROD Power Tour will feature a colorful midway of
mobile display rigs from more than 50 performance manufacturers and aftermarket
specialists with opportunities to view the latest innovations and get expert advice. The
main stage will feature entertainment, celebrities, games, and dozens of giveaways.
Select locations will also feature Drag Strip Fun Runs and Autocross action.
The HOT ROD Power Tour brings significant impact to the economies of each of its tour
stops. Hotels, restaurants, nightclubs, and bars play host to tour participants who are
relaxed and enjoying the lifestyle of the ultimate hot rodding journey. The HOT ROD

I know the Bowling Green hotel is fully booked.

I checked the BG Holiday Inn and there are like 5 rooms left but they are $30 to $50 more when I booked back in December. Phew.

Cordova is doing an after hours event at the track on the Davenport stop day.

ok booked hotels to drive from Davenport to Indy. (would get to Davenport at night on the 12th as i would work that day and probably leave here by 5ish).

asked my boss for the days off, but i haven't heard back yet. hope i can get off for it.

dates got OKed by the boss. i'm in for the 3 legs. i'll buy my multi day pass on Friday probably.

I am gunna get mine in like March or something probably.

This is going to be a fun trip.. No Beale street moments for me. BYOB is right for the Iowa Speedway.. glad one of my fav. Chargers is going along!

First venue finally announced. Changed the hotel for Kansas, information updated as well.

Holy SHIT this is tomorrow!

Car is packed, mostly. Just one cooler for the snacks I am taking, bag, and laptop bag need to go in tomorrow morning. Heading out early to meet up with Paul then we head south to meet up with Zach then we all head west.
