Lake Geneva Cruise - October 4, 2015

You thought it wasn't happening well it is.

Sunday October 4th
Start of cruise meeting place: Intermatic 7777 Winn Road, Spring Grove, IL
Meeting time: 930 am
Rolling out: 10 am ish

There is a Walgreens and a gas station right there in case anyone needs to grab a drink, or food, or fill up for the day.

Will be following Adam (Moparcharger07) through the back roads of WI until we get to Lake Geneva. Will try to park together but not knowing how things will be we won't know until we get there.

Street parking we will have to pay for that, the machines take credit cards, FYI. Once we are all parked we will go into town and just explore the shops, check out the water, or hang at a bar. People normally split up into groups, everyone is welcome to do their own thing.

Everyone be back to the cars by 1 pm so we can depart.

Picnic is happening. Anyone attending the picnic please let us know what dish you will be bringing to pass (app, side, dessert) and then whatever you want to drink. Also bring a chair since we will be hanging out in the yard.

NOOOO, Raiders vs Bears game.

We talked about that. If people want to watch the game cool but we want to cruise. Plus my car has a radio.

I doubt it will be much of a game.

I will probably be at the game so I'm out. :-(

So here's the question..... do you all want to do the picnic in Silver Lake like we have in the past? OR like last year go to a place like the Brat Stop??

Adam I posted the question on the Facebook event as well, I will keep you posted with how that goes.

I am all for a picnic, that is so laid back and fun.

Hey Adam just a heads up from John on Facebook "Fyi... an old friend of mine is doing his annual 5th Gen Camaro cruise through Lake Geneva the same day.. he said police are going to be blocking the downtown off for them. 40+ cars expected so far."

I think we will be fine since it looks like they are going to be downtown and we park on the outer parts.
