Monster Mopar Weekend at Kil-Kare

Ok here is all the updated info I have.

2 meet up spots for the cruise over to Xenia.

First will be Bosak as usual. 830 AM. Details still being worked out.

Second stop is off I-70 East and exit 95 (Mt Comfort Road) at the Pilot Travel Plaza

Then on to Ohio. There were talks of stopping at the Air Force Museum before hitting the hotel.

Still going to make the decision if I am going after Cinco, if I am going I will post the hotel that I am getting for anyone that is going and wants to stay in the same place.

why cant anyone have these shows in illinois???

They tried to get it at Route 66 in Joliet I believe but there was no interest from the site.

We need to pick a hotel for all of us to stay at.

agreed.. Same hotel Ideal.. once I make a decision on what I can afford..

Marc, Tom C and Mary, and me are heading out in the morning. Wish more of you could make it but its understandable with the distance. Will try to take pics.

Just got home. So much fun. I will start posting pics in a bit. TomC and Marc both placed in their classes and so did I so we came home CAMM 3 for 3.

The area down there is very nice, track is only a 1/8th but very well ran. We did get sprinkled on a few times yesterday and one nice downpour for a few mins but they kept up with the track so there was never a really long lull in the racing. The show area was nice, we were on grass and despite all the rain before and during it was never really too soft to drive on. Was never worried about the cars getting stuck. Not too many show cars there unfortunately

Hotel we stayed at was a little further out then where most people stayed but was nice and since we were so late in booking we had to take what we could get. We rolled into a local cruise Friday night and heads turned, jaws dropped. But that was for the four 2 door cars in front of me. Going around with 4 of the best looking Challys is pretty fun. Its cool to see heads turn. I know people look at Ares too eventually.

Right now its up in the air where Monster will be next year. They are actively working on getting it back to Indy or even St Louis, which would be laterish like September. If it cannot be worked out I think Xenia is in the books again, I know personally I would not mind going back. Yes its a bit further then Indy. But breaking it up like we did really made it seem not like that long of a drive. Plus the back roads that we took once we got into Ohio really made the whole trip worth it. Was a lot like what we drive on when we do the CAMM cruise. It was just a very laid back FUN weekend and I am so thankful to everyone at Monster Mopar for putting it together with all the issues that were thrown at them.

Cannot wait until next year.

We made a friend.

great pics, street name is great and the frig looks like it was just the right size.

I laughed for 20 mins on the street name. I know everyone just wanted me to shut up but I thought it was funny.

The fridge was the first thing I unpacked had to get it filled up quickly.

It was a blast.
