Monster Mopar Weekend Indy

June 28th to 30th

All the details are still being worked out but there will be a giant cruise down on Friday, dinner on Friday, show Is both days. Drag racing and autocross as well.

I went last year and cannot wait for this. It was Sept last year so this is a date change.

Hope to have a good sized group head down for this.

We have made accommodations for a block of rooms for participants.. When you call in you must mention Monster Mopar Weekend--June 28-30, 2013 and you will receive our group rate of $72.00/night + tax. Book early as they will sell out fast.

The Clarion has a rather large parking lot and will be able to accommodate some truck and trailers, and your cars.

As always, there are other hotels in the area, but the Clarion is our Host Hotel.

i want to go but it is too far ahead to know for sure if i can get off work.

I know I already have a conflict, birthday weekend for my counterpart at work. I don't care the min we can put time in I am asking for Friday off and I will tell them I will travel with my computer and be on call but I am freaking going.

Met so many cool people last year and had a blast.

I hope everyone that wants to go can.

Ya, it was so nice to have this in Sept when nothing else was going on, I know they didnt want to change it but had to for other reasons. So much going on during the summer months. Hopefully it works out good.

I keep checking and no one has started putting out show schedules yet but I am sure it's going to be a packed summer.

But short of an illness, ain't nothing stopping me from going again.

Well lets see, my kids dont have a B-Day that weekend, no graduation, no wrestling. Fuck I'm sure something will come up, if not I'm in.

Invite went out to those on Facebook. Details still being worked out. Closer to time we will work on the Chicago area game plan to get to the meeting place for the cruise down.

Are you staying at a hotel for the weekend?

That's the plan, Fri and Sat night. They are still working on the host hotels. The plan is to have a special block of rooms for those that participate in the cruise down.

Last year we met at Bosak Dodge right over the border in IN Friday morning to head down. The plan is the same this year. Will be stopping for breakfast on the way down. That info will be posted soon.

We went down a day before so we didnt have to drive all that way in the morning of the cruise

Where we got to park, I think they are going for the same area this time. Its nice because its right behind the grandstands and in June we will appreciate the shade. Washrooms close, food close, rest of the show close.
