do i need a dyno tune?

i just bought an Rt charger that has a 6.1 . should i get a special tune to make it run the way its suppose to? or should i just use the tunes on the predator

All up to you. If it's bone stock I would wait until you do some of the basic performance mods first.

the previous owner added magnaflow high flo cats and exhaust and intake. im thinking of getting some srt gears in the future

Oh. Might as well then. You know me I would dyno my dog if I ever could find his obd2 port, lol.

lol, i just dont wanna end up with something end up going wrong with the engine if i am using a wrong tune. hopefully i find those gears soon

FYI your seller created a bit of a stir on LXfourms i guess. seems he had a deal set up already for the car with 1fast4dr before he sold it locally to you. then the seller tried to justify it by saying you wrecked the car on your test drive and that is why he had to sell it to you.

Lol yea I know . I had contacted The seller before anything happen over on lx , I was going to pick up right after he posted it on clist but I had nobody to take care of my kid at the time , so I had to wait till next day and that's when everything happend.i was goin to post screen shots with dates and times on lx but I just didnt want to people pist off at me . And no I did not jump any curb lol .

So your the person that picked up this car. So this was a legit deal!! How does it compare your RT? You should throw some mods at it then go get dyno'd.

Big difference between my old 5.7 !. First I wanna get all the body work done and painted . I might start off with a new cam then try to find some srt gears .

If you want stock srt rear end I have the whole setup in my garage. I have two guys that have half ass committed to buy it in a few weeks, neither is exactly local, and I'm almost giving it to them. I told one guy 300 if he picks it up. The other guy was 150 plus a 3g firewall cover. If you really want it I'll tell them to send the money now or I'm moving it. 250 for drive shaft, rear end, axles with tone rings, and hubs. approx 85k of chicago all season miles on them. Honestly I'd go with an LSD if I was you, it made a huge difference for me, and it's not really that expensive.

will 22x10 rims all around fit with no issues? thinking of lowering it 2 inches after i get it back

I would get a CMR tune on it, there is always something to be had from tweaking a canned tune.

yea too much drama went on over on Lx over this car.

well its almost time for paint! body work is almost done , i decided to go with the cadillac Black diamond 3 stage paint!
Cant wait to get it back!
