Starved Rock cruise

You guys could do the cruise up there and then head back down to the gathering at Pasta Bella.

yes we can do that.just picked up a pizza around an hr ago from pasta bella

If we want to do the cruise and then meet up at pasta bella's who is in for that?

the wife and i will come. if there is a good turn out i dont want to drive all that way with just a couple of us

snow is a big factor to think about when doing this drive. Perhaps the group cruise is something that should be worked on over the winter break, and planned for something in the spring? maybe like a CAMM season opener? It might be easier with people's schedules as well, and planning for a day off and things. Just a thought.

I just hope to be around for the new season. Moving in April.

i work saturday. like i said i can do sundays... so I'm out if its a saturday.

even if you guys only had 2 or 3 other cars to go along, the drive should be a fun one, provided the group of people want to have fun. When i went, it was just my charger and my roommates mustang, and it was a kick as time, just having one person to play around with on the roads...

I think they settled on spring. LOL

we still got some Indian summer left. I dont think it will snow till early December.

as long as the roads are dry & salt fee it should happen.

I would be good for it this year or next doesn't matter to me. Just don't want to do it with 2-3 cars more like 5-6 or more.

We can try to make a cruise a season opener for next year. Will keep that in mind as I start to plan things.

we should try and get this going again since it never happened when the colors are starting to change .i know its early.but lets try and find out if there is enough interest this year.i vote for a sunday.seems like alot of us work saturdays.everybody bring some kind of dish and beverage to share.what does everybody think about this?

IM in for this Cruise sounds like fun, was thinking about driving out that way alone just for something to do, Post up the plans, I hope I can make it.

the route for the cruise is posted in the first post... its a great route, however if anyone from down that way knows a different, maybe more scenic, feel free to change it up a bit!

Sundays are best...as long as my son doesn't have football games. I heard they may have some Sunday games.
