CAMM day at the drags

Contests Tom on winning the bracket race tonight. He had to earn it!! Tough conditions tonight to run. My best was a 12.86 @ 104.91.

Thanks, Dan. That vette was the toughest. I ran him a couple times before in the past weeks. He sand bags worse than me, so I push him to the end of the strip and make him break out, lol. I stay just behind him at the finish so I don't break out.

Attention racers & fans...

Mother Nature has to take a leak... and it plans to on Saturday.

As of Thursday afternoon, the weather forecast calls for an 80% chance of rain on Saturday during the Halloween Havoc event, and as such, the event and all associated festivities have been canceled.

We are still going to try and host open test n tune fun racing on Saturday, weather permitting. Sorry for the let-down, but I would rather tell you now than have you drive to GLD just to have to turn around.

On the flip side however, tonight (Thursday) and Friday calls for zero rain and sunshine... albeit some cold. We are down to the wire before the season is over folks... get that fun racing test n tune in while you can!

Also of note, weather permitting, GLD will be open all of next week; starting in November, we will be open on weekends for test n tune racing until the snow falls, possibly Friday nights as well.

Remember that November weather can change in a heartbeat, so make sure you check our website at http://www.greatlakesdragaway.com before heading to the track!

no, it means Saturday stuff was canceled. we never planned to go on Saturday anyways.

Hey guys I'm sorry I am going to have to back out. I have been running a fever all day so not in any condition to race. If it breaks and I feel better I might try to head up later in the day.
