| you can leave the fan alone... tstat will open on its own... and fan will kick on when needed... can maybe adjust shift points... slightly... turn off speed regulator, well turn it UP... | |

| if you dont adjust the fans you will still see high coolant temps near how it is stock. no point to putting in the low thermo if you are gonna see those temps anyways. just because the thermo opens lower doesn mean the fluids wont get hot. you have to cool the fluids themselves too. otherwise you wouldn't even have fans. | |

when you go to adjust your fans you will see it. there is a low speed fan for light cooling, medium speed fan for medium cooling, and high speed (the one you hear outside the car) im not sure if the r/t has the 3 stage fans or not but it still has the 3 settings in the predator menu for them. you will notice there are 2 fan menus one for with AC on, and one for with AC off (air conditioning). you need to set them to the same settings in both modes. | |

| to recap fans at 185, 190, 195 for ac on and off, top speed to somethin' higher (i'll match the speedo) reset tcm, firm up shift points, and shift firmness.
the user manual says the shift points are a set value so i'll go with that (obviously)
and the manual says the shift firmness is also a preset value.
cool, thanks
and jon this is from the user manual for the fans
Fan control: AC off high MPH high speed fan on temp so i want 195 AC off high MPH low speed fan on temp 185 AC off high MPH medium speed fan on temp 190 AC off low MPH high speed fan on temp 195 AC off low MPH low speed fan on temp 185 AC off low MPH medium speed fan on temp 190 AC on high speed fan on temp 195 AC on medium speed fan on temp 190 AC on low speed fan on temp 185
right for the fans?
thanks guys | |

| Don't forget to make a backup copy of your stock tune. The Predator will automatically back it up for you and store it in the Predator but if something happens to the Predator, you risk losing the copy. Mine came with a USB cable (not sure if I had to pay extra for that - maybe) and there's a program called DSDownloader you use (download that from the Diablo site) to back it up to your pc. I reset mine to stock every time I take the car to the dealer just to be safe. | |
