the "i am gonna KILL myself"project...

well, a few weeks ago, i got to take a buddies dirt bike down the road, something i havent done since i snagged my dirtbikes engine for the go cart a year and a half ago....that night resparked my intrest in bikes....BIG TIME.....well, i did something about it today...LOL saw this deathtrap of a heap come up on craigslist, and jumped on it.....its got a strong 110cc motor in it


its missing the brakes, clutch lever and cable, and needs a new ignition cylinder....BUT.....it does run, and is fast as HELL!!!!! took it out and in 3rd, hit 39mph gps confirmed, and had a gear to go...i was too chickenshit to take it up faster without any brakes....how it now looks:

nice. my buddy and i are planning on getting dirt bike style 50's pretty soon to ride on the trails behind his house in lisle when we have bonfires at his house.

death traps for sure. lol. last time i was riding one at my other friends farm in Manhattan IL i was having so much fun riding around i was still on the thing at like 3 am. the grass started to form dew and the front tire slipped out on me taking a turn in the yard. went down on my hip and my cell phone happened to be there. broke the cell phone and bruised my hip. lol. my friend went down doing a wheelie and sprained his ankle the same night.

Haha i almost sprained my ankle tonight going for the gear shift 2-3.... Toe cought thw ground... Note to self dont wear work boots when riding a pocket bike...LOL

I've had two 90cc pocket bikes. From pocketbikeracer.com they are fun till the cops come and try to arrest me for racing them in the street. lol!

Haha, our shop is in unincorperated cook county, and all the cops know me as the guy with the sweet gocart....LOL they really dont care if i ride it around....theyre cool like that down here...

Well... I cant leave stuff stock...just doesnt happen....LOL i have a race clutch, cam, and 10,000rpm ignition on the way, and in a few weeks i will be getting a large bore kit.....LOL

well....the bike ended up a means to an end...LOL just traded it today for a street legal enduro bike...

so...LOL long time update... in addition to the kawasaki i got another dirtbike last spring, street legal, and i am most of the way thru converting it to a supermoto...hehe
