Tire Rotation Empty
PostSubject: Tire Rotation   Tire Rotation I_icon_minitimeNovember 8th 2012, 1:59 pm

My stock tires are a set of Potenza GO19's, and as I was mounting the tires the other day (for upcoming winter use) I noticed there is a symbol on the tire sidewall that specifies the direction of tread rotation. From this I gathered that 2 of the tires are left side specific and the other 2 tires are right side specific. My question is...when one has tires like these, can they be conventionally rotated (i.e., where a tire from the left side is moved to the right side, an vis versa)? How important is it that the tread rotation direction be one way only?

no, you can't rotate the traditional way. Just Rear to front and front to rear... sides stay the same.

OR if you wanted to have them dismounted and mounted again to where you wanted them to end up. We do it sometimes here n there with some of our customers. Otherwise front to back back to front should be fine
