Due to poor weather for Saturday May 9th, we are going to move the “Meet n Greet” to Saturday June 13th 2015, again starting 1:00 PM in the parking lot of the Portillo’s in Downers Grove.  This is near the I88 and I355 interchange.  Hopefully this will allow some of you that are not available on the 9th to attend.

The Portillo’s parking lot has plenty of room and we had a great turnout last year. It was a lot of fun talking cars and mods and meeting new people as well as putting faces to screen names. Let’s see if we can top the number of cars we had last year!

Pass this along to any other Challenger owners you know that might be interested that may have missed this thread.

Since Morris is that night it might be fun for some of us to go to this this cruise out to Morris.

Planning on going. Hope for better weather.

On my calendar. This plus Morris sounds like a great idea.

Ok I will try to figure out what time we need to leave Downers to get out to Morris. Will be getting there a little later than usual probably.

you get to Morris late, you get no spot. lol. i would leave the first show early if you have to chose between the two. the first Morris of the season is gonna be packed. Morris = 800 cars, Downers show =70ish cars. yea... I'm getting to Morris on time or early for once. i'm tried of trying to drive through thousands of people in the street every time i get there late.

There is no set end time for the meet and greets. The last few years people have filtered in and out over a number of hours.

Im with you on that.

So if we leave for Morris from Downers at 2 (just stay an hour) Jon that will put us at Morris at around 3 pm. We were aiming to get there around 4 last year, we arrived a little after that, and we were all the way at the end but we still parked together.

That work or still no go?

Ok this is the plan. I will not go looking for people at 2 so if you get left neeners.

Going 355(toll) to 55 to 80 to 47
47 is exit 112 from I80
Going left on 47 on that road for 2.4 miles then we turn right onto Washington Street
To park together we need to roll in together.

Who is planning on going today?

I think we should go ahead and have the meet. Last time they said rain and we called it, but we could have had the meet. Due to other shows and peoples availability from here on out this is the best weekend to hold this.



I lost track of a head count when we had to cancel the last one so hopefully we will still get a good turnout.

Thanks to everyone that came out! Had a great time meeting everyone. We had about 20 Challengers and 3 Chargers. I know the threat of rain kept more away, but it was all good.
