Monster Mopar World Finals

So at each of the Monster Mopar events there is drag racing and people get points and stuff.  This is the weekend of their finals in Ohio.  Its a lot like Monster Mopar Indy.  Details again being worked out so I will update as I learn more.

If Monster Mopar in Indy does not happen this will be the event to go to. Its about a 4 hour cruise from Bosak so it is a haul but I want to support Josh and Zach for their event so I am planning on going.

i put in for the dates off for this at work. not sure if i will go or not yet, but at least i will have the days off if they are approved.

Ok I'm putting this show back on my list. Would anyone else be interested in going. Its about 5 hours from Chicago to Norwalk.

Possibly, being that its only 20 miles from Cedar Point. I would do Thurs-Mon if money and time off work allows. That way Tammy and I could hit up Cedar Point. Only issue is we are saving up for Jamaica in January, so we will see.

Yeah was going to say Cedar Point is right near there. Its close to the place I stayed the two days when my tire blew.

There is going to be a cruise on Friday from Bosak it looks like over to Ft Wayne then from there over to Norwalk. That breaks it up to driving 2/ 2.5 hours stopping, then another 2/2.5 hours.

I will update as more details are made known. I know hotel is going to be high on the list to get booked so anyone that does end up going we can all be in the same place again.

This one is going to be big.. working on a huge saturday night party as well.. stay tuned for details.. there is a cruise going over on Friday as well.

Need to decide by August 25th if you are going for sure.  
The hotel rooms are released back to the hotel on August 25th.

I am calling and booking my rooms today.  I am staying at Fairfield.  That seems to be the main hotel.  If you are even considering going I would hold rooms if you want to be with the main people.  I think this one will fill up fast. Just cancel the room before the 25th.

And yes this is the area I was stranded for 2 days with the tire issues so I do know it.  Decent area, lots of stuf around it, right by the interstate.

*8:00 am to 8:30 am CST - Meet at Bosak Performance for departure at 8:30 am CST for Ft. Wayne
*11:30 am EST - Arrive at Quaker Steak and Lube (halfway point)
*12:45 pm EST - Depart for Summit Motorsports Park

Need to decide by August 25th if you are going for sure. The hotel rooms are released back to the hotel on August 25th. They are also looking to have a hard count of cars for the cruise as well by this date.

If you are going judged GET A FIRE EXTINGUISHER or they will dock points again.
This is an open trunk, open door car show.
You are expected to be at your car at judging they like to talk to the owner.

Marc I heard you are in the same hotel that I booked into.

If anyone else is thinking about going, I know this was asked about at mod night, I would grab a room now. You can always cancel before August 25th.
