CAMM Track Day

Sunday October 20th

Gates open at 8 am
Racing starts at 10 am


One last time to play before it gets cold. CAMM invites all of our friends to join us. All Mopars and non Mopars welcome.

$30 to race. Car must be able to pass tech. Long pants and closed toed shoes required to race. When they ask tell them at the gate you are with "Chicagoland Area Modern Mopars." We will get assigned our own staging lane based on the number of cars we have show up.  Will get an entry card as long as you mention the name.

$15 to spectate. Can park in the pits with those that are racing.


**For those that would like to roll into the track together**
Meet at the Belvidere Oasis, I-90, milepost 24
Be there around 815 am CST, leaving at 830 am CST.

Will get us to the track around 9. Gives the cars time to cool off and for us to get unpacked and settled in before we get called to race.

Please let me know if you will be at the Oasis so no one is left behind.

I think VP109 is over $10 a gallon, but then you have to advance your timing across the board to take advantage of it. I wont do that, but have at it if you feel comfortable doing it.

Not pure, just a good fillup of a gallon or two to boost motor octane to hopefully true 93 for max results.

I see nothing on my schedule for that date unless that new Stateline Shakedown Index series I just joined up with has something. I hope I can get my car running right by then. I think I'm onto something.

SAWEEEEET!!! A Sunday!!! Hopefully I can make it, but I'm gonna plan on it.

First post updated with all the info.

I am planning on parking where we did last year. That way those watching and in between runs, if there is a big time gap like last year, we can sit up on the hill and watch. I will be watching the weather and decide if I am bringing the tent or not.

Will see if a few Jeeps want to partake.

Please do. I've asked Brian to invite the Caliber guys. Also MMA, NWINMopar, MMOI so it should be a great turn out.

I would like to go but I'm on the fence still. IF I do go I will be racing the Chally since the Mango is going to be in storage by then.

Evil: If you need a tent for that day, I do have the MOPAR tent you/we can use.  

If ya wanna go Jackie, we can cruise down there together

I still have my tent but if you guys want to build tent city again go for it.

You guys are more then welcome to come to Palatine and follow me over as well.
