| Next Sunday is the last Fun Racing Sunday till mid October and since Sundays are the only days I can go I'm planning on a trip up there. Anyone else feel the need? | |

| i actually want to wait for October. tracking in the summer is pointless unless there is a cool event at the track. in my opinion.
street car chaos or something like that would be fun. but i think I'm done test and tuning till cold weather and good density altitudes come around. | |

| Ya'll missed a great day for the track. Cool weather and traction to boot.
Seven passes and five wins. The 3 best were a new Chally R/T 6 speed.....twice and a Vette. I don't know what happened to the Vette but I beat him bad. The other two should have kicked my butt but one, a Chevelle running slicks and a mean sounding motor broke coming off the line and an early model Cuda 340 also running slicks and sounding very badass redlighted (Hey, a wins a win). My last and best run of the day was a 14.067 @99.40, just a tick short of my record.
But the best thing today was a new best 0-60 time for me. I set my timer just before launch each pass and got a 5.44 with all the rest pretty close to that.
Probably my last trip this season to the strip and it felt pretty good to have such a good day. | |
