Big Blue

Gave Big Blue a quick wash down, while I was fixing some Burgers on the Grill tonight...Wanted to get some pics posted last week...Just ended up running out of time...











With lights on under tailgate...Those are just the running lights...But they are also an extra brake light and turn signals...

Yeah...Its a LED light bar...It's not currently hardwired though...It uses a 4-pin wiring harness...But has the running/brake/turn features...adds a little something...

I agree with one of the earlier posts...That there is a lot of chrome...I'm planning on replacing rims/tires shortly and they will have some Black in them...And might go ahead and replace the chrome side steps with some Black ones...Then not sure about the bumpers...Might have them painted to match the body color...And was just looking at an SRT hood scoop...My I-wants list is growing rather rapidly...

Tom (is it?)...The plasti-dip? Does that usually do a decent job? I know I want to get different rims...but might try that stuff on the side steps...and maybe the original rims if I'm going to swap them back in winter...I've never worked with that stuff...So not sure...

The plasti-dip is super easy to work with but not the most durable. It would be great for parts that aren't going to see much wear and tear or for just seeing how something would look painted black temporarily because you can remove it fairly easily if you don't like the look.

Dang that sticker looks AWESOME with the color, its a little lighter but I like it!

I realized last night my Ram in Forza is the same color as your truck.

Finally had the leveling kit put on the front end of my truck last week...It brought the front end up 2.5"... I think it looks alot better with the truck closer to level compared to the front end being so much lower...

Here is a better view of the whole thing...Once I get it cleaned up better...I'll try to get a few better pics...You can see the windows are tinted...Haven't posted pics since that was done last summer/fall...Oh...And you'll be able to see that the house got modded too...New windows, siding, doors...

It is made by TruXedo and is made to be installed underneath a tonneau cover... According to their website they run about $440 but I happened to win this one for free from a Facebook contest that TruXedo had... Can't beat free!!
