I'm TRYING to work on parking, since I KNOW that is gonna be an issue, so hopefully the City Clerk gets back to me. MIGHT have to get a permit, but we'll see

I'm still waiting to hear back from the Clerk for parking and a possible parking permit, But I am gonna take a cruise out there real soon to scout out some places, I have a few in mind.....

Ok, here's what I'm thinkin...

We meet up at a good "morning" time, take the back road cruise out there, take a few laps maybe and find a place to park. We can do our thing for a bit, I'm gonna check on grilling and regulations like that. After we are "Lake Geneva"d out, we can take the other back road cruise towards WI, and these roads are fun and VERY scenic. Head towards WI and cruise up to a park I know of in Silver Lake right by my old house, we can go past the house where they filmed the new Amityville as well, and to the park IF we can't grill in Lake Geneva, then we can grill out there at the park, it's a GREAT place for pics too.

As long as its not June 4th im down to go.. Ive never been there and after just looking it up im rather close!

Adam and I have been talking and we are leaning torwards Sunday June 5th. But it just depends on what he can secure. Give us until next week to decide on junk for sure.

I'll be a maybe on that date, but that's better than other Sundays in June where I'll be a definite NO. Busy June for me.

So, you're saying you're going to be available to be the grand marshal this year?

Running into a problem with parking, I got ahold of the city clerk and they said they get MANY clubs asking the same thing, (To reserve some parking), but they cannot grant that. I can see why though, it IS a BUSY little town, they DID say there is two separate spots that offer free parking, like parking lots. I'm gonna take a cruise out there myself, and scope them out and see if it'll work or not.

Ok, I went out tonight and scoped the area out, the clerk gave me two locations with free parking that we can use, and I am really liking the elementary school, it's right in town basically and the parking lot is HUGE. So we've got parking now. As for the grilling out in Lake Geneva, we MIGHT have to wait and grill in the park afterwards, there is more room, and I'm not too sure on cooking or whatever in Lake Geneva, but it'll still be awesome.

So I am thinking, as for the meeting spot, the old Intermatic on 12 is shut down. They have a big parking lot as well, that seemed to be a good meeting spot to me. BUT am open to any other suggestions as well.

So anybody who is 100% wanting to come pm me, and I'll start a list in the thread.
