| Not hard, I had Elcobra do mine. You just have to bend them a little in the back. I wouldnt feel comfortable doing them by myself on someone elses car. I could help out though. | |

Just the rails, or did you retain the injectors too? If you want the 6.1 injectors, I just happen to have a set with very low milage on them. Like new!! and cheap, too.

$50 in perfect condition. I changed them out in April, 2010. I just looked it up and they came out at 6,000 mi.

Everything bolts up the same as your 5.7 rails. Use your old hardware.

| Remember you have to bend the 6.1 rails a little bit so they fit. You can look it up on LX I'm sure there is a write up on it. We did mine ghetto style! Laid them on the floor on carpeting or a piece of card board. Put your foot on the rail to hold in place and pull to bend the other side. If you dry fit them you will see what needs to be bent. Make sure all your o-rings on the injectors look good. If not replace them, they only cost a few cents a piece. | |

| I've test fitted them and knew they need to be bent. What do you have to do to remove the intake manifold? | |

I dont remember having to take the intake manifold off. You do need a special tool to disconnect the gas line. Not expensive maybe $10 at the most.
