well after 3 years of beating the shit outta my r1 rotors, they are toast! so i am replacing them with the...the same rotors, ha. great product for the price! i hope they will be here by this monday. i also ordered front/rear stainless steel brake lines. has anybody have these installed on their car? i am real curious how they will differ from the rubber lines.

Stainless lines don't let in moisture, or at least not as much as rubber does.

they still let in moisture but they don't swell when the brake fluid gets hot like rubber lines do. so your pedal does not get soft when the lines swell.

basically a couple laps into autox my pedal would start to play funny games with me in random corners. now it does not.

you should change your brake fluid every 2 years or so. moisture naturally happens in the lines. factory brake fluid has a real low boiling point when wet.
