| Dont order the 1 1/2 clamp. I talked to Matt and he thinks thats the problem, he said your better off using a regular clamp from the auto parts store! | |

| Looks real good Shawn. My experience with Summit product has been good. I'm sure the hose will hold up well and you'll be fine as soon as you get that clamp tightened up good. | |

| Looks good on the car Shawn.. As we've talked about, it's not for me and my modding tastes but it fits in well for what you have going..
Sorry to hear that it's leaking and hopefully you'll get it worked out..
The paint job on the mini looks pretty good especially for being drunk and at 4am..

Good luck with that Vic, Summit only had steel braided, no colors. But if anyone can find it I'm sure it will be you!

| Well problem fixed and no leaks as of yet. When I put the hose on the water neck side, I collapsed the hose a little bit so it wasnt completely seated correctly. So I decided to take the water neck off and put the hose on first which worked out better. So I asked Matt to come by since he is only 5 minutes away, I wanted a second opinion as to if it was seated correctly before I put it back together. Well low and behold we started the car to make sure the thermostat opened and nothing leaked. My heat was not blowing hot and the new hose wasnt heating up, well after the hose was leaking yesterday I somehow got air in my block. Well Matt noticed it and we pulled the thermostat and filled up the block with coolant and the problem solved. I'm glad Matt stopped by cause I would have probably not noticed it.
Thanks Matt | |

| I got it from Vic the day of Fiesta Days. It's the piece for the bottom hose on the hemi's. I'm gonna adapt it to the upper hose on mine. I just got a new upper hose today actually to install it. Probably, MAYBE have it done by the weekend. | |

| Did you just get 1.75" hose and cut it to length? For a hose that size w/ those bends, it's worth getting one made. Spectre will braid over a (new) factory hose - 100% guaranteed to fit, and it's the "real" braiding, not a cheap slip-over sleeve. | |

No, I ordered the hose from Summit and its real steel braided. Its 1.75 on one side and 1.50 on the other side, I did have to cut it down cause it was too long.
