It's an extension of my "I drive a boring car" way of thinking which is diametrically opposed to nearly every member of this forum's way of thinking. Although, I believe I can say that even though most would think Plain Jane is boring to look at, driving her is another story. I do need this FWD rims as opposed to RWD rims question answered, though. Jon? Adam? I'm also thinking that since these are OEM rims, I could probably get the centercaps from a dealer (and pay through the nose for them, of course). Of course, for me, I've always driven a boring car. Never modded before this car.

| ive been talking to him on pm. they wont work.
offset is wrong and intrepid's are 5x114.3mm bolt patern. chargers are 5x115mm
the lug nuts are 12x1.5 and the chargers are 14x1.5 so the lug nuts you need to clip the cop hub caps on wont work either.
the factory intrepid steel wheels are cheaper anyways so the charger steel wheels would not be a logical option anyways even if they did fit.

| Eric ask jontoad about having your rims repaired so they stop leaking. Just a little wire brushing on the inside maybe. | |

chrome doesn't work that way.... if it was a painted or polished wheel i could fix em but not chrome. if chrome is leaking its because the plating is lifting, corroding, or cracking where it seals with the tires. if you look at the cars behind our shop the employee parking at the shop in the summer you will see custom rims on almost all our rides, no one has chrome. if you work in this industry you learn to hate chrome unless you live down south where they don't have corrosion problems.

That's exactly what it's doing. You've probably even seen it happen with these very same wheels at your shop.
