HALOs...my own personal HELL

That sucks. Sounds like it's no longer just your own personal hell. Good news is that once you get it all figured out, you'll be expert.

True. And for anyone considering buying halos, with the issues with both companies, you may want to wait...plcman let me know there will soon be "halos by plcman."

Are you the first with this many problems dave? I don't have halos but i haven't seen these kinda issues before.

The real difference, or problem, with mine is two things:

1) amber halos run @ 7v, presenting tougher problems stepping voltage down from 14v batteries than most other colors that run @ 10v,

2) I want this thing really bulletproofed. So it's more involved than the average setup.

Yeah id want them bulletproofed as well. I wouldn't wanna go and redo it all over and over. Best of luck again dave. Hope you get it all ironed out. Im around the corner if you need anything..

I'm back from my vacation, planning on trying to figure this thing out myself this week. I have wires hanging out of my drivers side dash now.

Thanks, Chris. Let me see what happens when I talk to Raymond this week. I'll take you up on it, as long as it's not taking you away from needed family time, or is your only day off after 11 days working.

it will have to be sat night or sunday.... lol, nope no 11 days in arow this week....

Well, my plan is to get the real way this needs to be wired settled with plcman FIRST, before doing anything. I'm guessing Sunday will be the day. But I'll only go with it if ALL questions are settled, and all that's left to do is the manual labor.

Hope you get it done soon! After all you've only waited like a year.....
