2nd CAMM Mod Night of 2010

Date: Saturday, April 24th
Time: 1 PM
Place: Shawn's house in Streamwood

Shawn is going to open up his home, driveway, and garage to CAMM once again. PM me for his address.

Post up and let us know if you are coming and if you are coming do you have a mod that needs to be done to your car so we can get a game plan together.

I am going to bring hot dogs and brats and Shawn will cook them up. If anyone else would like to bring snacks or a side that would be great. Also bring whatever you would like to drink.

I'm going to need help with a lower control arm. I have had a knocking sound on the front drivers side lately when I hit even a little bump. Adam thinks thats the problem. I'm going to replace drivers and passenger side, passenger side is not making noise, but I would feel better doing both of them. Anyone ever do a lower control arm? If so any special tools needed?

No AWD drive right? The only thing it could be is a loose nut or the bushings, but I've never heard of an issue on the LCA bushings for a RWD.

If it's the lower ball joint then that's a seperate part and is a bit of labor to get to. Unless you have just the right ball joint puller it's a bear to get out because other stuff will be in the way.


I'd like to come and hang out... maybe turn a wrench or two. Maybe get some help on my my car if I haven't done the mods that I've had sitting for a while

Adam is our suspension specialist, and he installed my srt8 suspension. Not saying your wrong, but he thinks its the lower control arm. He had the same problem and has seen it on other chargers.

how about a shitty end link. i know my front drivers side is toast. i have kind of the same symptoms.

More likely a tension short of getting a look at it. But Adam iirc is a professional wrench.

Sway bar bushing can be a culprit too
