2015 Wrangler build thread

Ok, you guys know me and I cant fucking leave anything I own alone. Even thought the Wrangler is my daily, I still have to make it mine. So here is what has been done last 2 weeks. Barricade HD front and rear bumpers, LED tails, Mopar gas cap/cover (had the open cap), Mopar soft top (killer deal from a guy on the Camm FB page), and I have some flat fender flares still to install. Those will be a 8-10 hour install and with the work in the basement I dont have time to do it on a weekend. So I might just install 1 flare a day after work to get it done. Also have a skid plate, and shorty antenna ordered but both on back order. I plan on powder coating the tow hooks wrinkled black or silver

not sure about them eyelids, the rest looks great.

I'd recommend a Johan tune, Shawn. I'm sure yours is even slower than mine with the added weight, but I did notice a difference. Seemed like gas mileage got a little better, too.

Don't think the 15's can be tuned yet. Thought I read you need to swap to a 14 pcm to get tuned. But I'm going to do a CAI and axle back exhaust first

if the jeep lights are way easier to take out the halos look killer on them if you want to give that another go. lol.

Can't split these open from what I can tell. They sell them with Halos already installed on aftermarket headlights. Not sure I'm going that route as this tank will be driven all winter long.

What's axle back exhaust?

From the Rear axle back, about half the price of a cat back.

Fender flares are done, did front drivers side on Thursday after work, took me about 2.5 hours. Got off work early Friday and knocked out the other 3. Front passenger side I finished in 80 minutes so I knocked over an hr off what it took me on drivers side. Rear driver side took me 90 minutes and passenger rear took about 1 hour. Attitude Performance quoted me $690 for the install and said it was 6 hours of labor. They also said and I quote "we highly recommend a shop to handle the install as its very difficult" Well they can go fuck themselves because I did it myself in under 7 hours, and I didnt think it was that difficult. I watched a video on youtube as I was doing the install and never once did I open up the instruction booklet, lol. The video made it very simple. Now I need bigger rims and tires, lol.

Good job, but you're right, things do look a bit out of proportion. What size of tires/rims you think you'll need?

Right now it has 17" rims with 35" tires. Plan on going up to 20" rims with 35" tires next year, or this year if I can find a buyer for current set up. I also need to go with a taller gear due to tire size, that was a total surprise. Figured that out yesterday while surfing some Wrangler forums.
