Painted my TB Empty
PostSubject: Painted my TB   Painted my TB I_icon_minitimeApril 21st 2014, 12:19 pm

Finally had time to get some little mods out of the way yesterday. Replaced my OEM tensioner with a Dayco tensioner. Dayco tensioner is rated at about 14lbs more than the stock one (IIRC), which is huge with me being blown now. Chances are with the way I drive, the Dayco one also stands no chance, lol.

2nd mod was paint my 85mm TB. I ordered it polished last year and as you can see the few times I drove it in the winter took its toll, plus it was probably a shit polish job. So I'm probably going with a black and silver theme under the hood (fuck u James). So I tried matching it up to stock silver on my strut tower brace. Close but doesnt have as much metallic as strut tower brace, which is fine by me. This isnt my Charger, so close is good enough for me, lol.

I think you need a couple more breather filters. TB looks good. I would have gave you a few bucks plus my TB if I knew you were going to paint yours.

No, nitrous doesn't create the crank case pressure like a blower does
