6.1 Mids and Manifolds on a 5.7

I am kicking myself in the ass. I had some 6.1 mids and manifolds and sold them because I thought i was going to buy a SRT8. Haven't bit the bullet on that one b/c I want a MSRT and can't find one.

Anyone know if 2010 Challenger SRT8 mids and manifolds would fit my 05 Magnum RT?

The mids might fit but I dont think the manifolds will fit the heads. I think the exhaust ports are different.

I found a set for $300 with low miles so I had to double check. Thanks Joe!

they will fit just fine..midpipes will not fit w/ out the manifolds...i have the gaskets and header bolts if you need them just let me know i will pay them forward

Ah then I was wrong. I thought the ports on the heads were different between the 5.7 and 6.1.

np... they are different ports joey however the exhaust manifolds dont need to be port matched they just need to have the correct stock 6.1 gaskets... the intake ports are what need to match to ensure no vaccume leaks.. the 6.1 exhaust manifolds are swapped directly onto a 5.7 w/ correct gaskets no mods needed..

looks like AW is selling this and wondering is this worth the swap?

So 6.1 headers and 6.1 mids connecting to Magnaflow cat back system? anyone running similar setup?

I don't know if it's worth it or not, but a lot of people do it. I've read the 6.1 headers are pretty good.

I have read they are almost equal to short headers. So there are some benefits for 5.7l but minimal gains for 6.1l.

They should open the exhaust up just fine, should fit just fine, and will still be carb legal
I was gonna go this route but found a set of long tube for a few bux more
