| sands out everything that is not deep. starts with 500 grit pads dry, then 800 grit dry, 1300 foam pad wet, then foam pad with special plastic cutting compund/polish, then a final sealant.
you have to fully sand off the UV coating. that is what yellows. you will see the plastic is a different color where the UV coating is still on it while you are sanding. when it is a uniform frosted look you went enough with the 500 grit and move on to start moving towards getting the clarity back. you have to make it look worse to look better.

i have done a hand full of cars with this kit. i did a co workers BMW with it and it looked great a year later still. look at it this way - the lights were already fucked. at that point what do you have to lose?

| Here is the actual area that was fixed. I cannot see any sign there was anything cut and welded. Talked to their head dude Adam and he has a CAMM card so if anyone needs work I would go to them. I went to the one in Bartlett. http://www.royalcoach.com/ | |

| nice. what did they charge for all that work? I have a rust hole on the underside and also a few small spots over the windshield I've been wanting to get fixed. I can do the underside stuff, but not something that could be seen like over the windshield.

| Newest mod. Wheels are off to get re-powdercoated so rocking some stock 18's, its weird. Will get pics in the sun tomorrow if we get any. Used the paint kit and I am thrilled with the results. I think the little pop of color behind the black wheels will work well. | |

| Thanks Shawn and James.
Andy yeah I had a few people over to help jack the car up and get my rims off. I cleaned them and painted them using a G2 kit (HIGHLY recommend them the color match is dead on).
Right now I have a pair of 18's on the car because my 20's are getting repaired, repowdercoated, and the new tires being put on.
I cannot wait to see the red behind the black rims.

| Yep still on the car. I got paint a few spots I didn't want it but its not visible once the rims are back on. If I was super duper OCD about it I probably would pull them off the next time. | |
