| if they still look as good as they do in that pic i would do what they said above and plastidip them. home paint jobs don't always come out the best. i wouldn't risk botching your rims if they still have a good factory finish.
plastidip can peel off with a little effort and leave the factory finish behind un touched. you don't sand before you plastidip you just clean the rims and spray. _________________ 2015 Blue Streak Ram R/T w/rambox - Daily driver status 2006 Charger /SRT//8/ - Autocross spec SRT MAX Plus cam, Dominator stall torque converter, AMG blue top shift solenoids, Wavetrack LSD, richmond 3.55 gears, Tein Superstreet coilovers, stack 'chubby'' sway bars, ect... | I just found this board today, I've got a 2006 Silver Steel R/T with Road and Track that has the wheels powder coated black and I love the look. Planning on changing to Daytona style grille and the chin spoiler as well when I get around to it.
I've been a big fan of all the LX cars since they debuted (big Mopar fan in general). The Charger reminds me of the 96 Impala SS I had only it has another 90 horsepower, 60 pound feet of torque and loads more refinement!
My wheels were already powder coated black when I bought the car in April. Was very glad to find a low mileage R/T with the Road and Track package, was originally looking for Brilliant Black but I've got to say that Silver Steel is pretty great and only was made in 2006 and 2007 but Black is a dime a dozen!
I'm actually also in Naperville so keep your eyes peeled.
I'll post a picture so you can see, this morning I swapped out all the crappy stock lug nuts for Gorilla 91147 lugs which look better than stock. This picture has the old stock lugs on.
I will try to upload more photos later the image hosting service isn't working well beyond this first one:

| Looks nice, sometimes I wish I would have kept my stock rims and did them in black. _________________ Crystal 2014 Dodge Durango SXT - stock for now 2007 Dodge Charger R/T - has some stuff done to it You Tube Channel https://www.youtube.com/c/ChicagolandAreaModernMopars
