seat vinyl repairs are temporary , the people who do them for dealers used cars do this to dress the car up and make it look presentable,it will come back. the only way to ensure its done right is to have a cut and sew shop replace the piece completely, its is more work that you might think, most shops get about $125 on up, they have to take the cover off, disassemble it, pattern it, an resew it, on the bolster area it usually has a double stitch which is a pain. then put it back in. if you are going to spend 40-65 dollars for a temp fix you may as well do it right for a little more money.

Thats some good info there. I still have to get mine fixed but I might wait till I have enough money and just get a whole katskin interior.
