| Or is it tinted beyond factory?  The guy at dodge in schaumburg says this is tinted beyond factory thats why my am radio is scratchy and its not his problem. Is he right or is this factory tint? | |

| OK,I HAVE THE SAME QUESTION....WHAT IS THAT STRIP AT THE TOP OF THE BACK WINDOW????????????????????I'M GOING TO HAVE MY WINDOWS TINTED THIS COMING WEEK AND IM WORRIED THAT IT WILL CAUSE SOME KIND OF AIR POCKETS IN MY TINTING.......S.O.S PLEASE HELP.....ITS FACTORY FOR SURE | |

| doesnt look tinted...looks like basic stock glass to me... those bars on the top shouldnt be a problem for tinting as long as you get someone who really knows what they are doing... as for the radio issues... if the antenna is on top of the car... how come there seems to be an issue with reception? I dont get it... | |

Even if it were tinted that wouldn't affect the radio reception. The tint goes inside the antennae receives from the outside. Tint doesn't change or have anything to do with radio reception. | |

| wrong... tint does affect stereo reception... I always listened to am...
till the day I got my windows tinted then couldnt...there is metallic tint that will affect the signal...
which I have... but suppose to help keep the heat out... | |

A good tinter can get that out! but tint sometimes doesnt want to stick to the blacks edges of the windows. when i do it i rub around it with an sos pad and it tends to stick better. i also have this special liquid to put on that also helps. before you get it done ask the guy about it and see what his take on it is. | |
