| [quote="moaugust88"]In Magnums it isn't so hard, when I cleaned my interior everything came out without a hassle. About the only thing I didn't remove was the passenger seat and carpet. For fear of having to pay the dealership $100 to reset the seat. Any problems with your passenger seat joejoe?[/quote

I dont think its a matter of just turning the light off. From what I hear is they have to recalibrate the passenger seat by hooking the car up to the computer and putting weights on the seat. I dont think it will cost $100 but I know they will charge. | |

| i was just reading something today about the same being true if you have the Auto up and down feature with your windows. You need to recalibrate that as well. It's in the center console removal instruction PDF here here | |

| I wonder if you run the risk of them going off unexpectedly if they aren't calibrated. | |

| I'd doubt it, would still need to be in a crash I think. But that sensor controls wether or not the passenger air bag is on when the car does crash. | |

| But, what about a hard stop that wouldn't normally set the bag off? Does the sensor calculate a change in measured weight resulting from a passenger being thrown forward to be used as a data point for determining when the bags should deploy? | |

| It turns it off when it is functioning properly. If it is not calibrated, how does it behave? Is it less sensitive, or more sensitive? Perhaps it is off all the time regardless of whether weight is in the seat, or not. | |

| I get it. I was just asking as I don't know as much about it as you do. You've by-passed the safety feature. | |
