My winter project is to tear the car apart and install sound deadening material in the trunk and entire floorboard. Maybe the door panels too. Does anyone (Matt) know approximately how much sound deadening material would be needed to do the trunk and the floorboard? I could get off my ass and take some measurements but I thought I'd ask here first. Looks like 50sq ft is a pretty common bulk roll of this stuff from the various suppliers.

Matt would be the person to ask, he is the only person I know that did all that!

I think I read that it would be just shy of 100sq ft. I was thinking of doing the same. Does anybody have a hookup for this stuff?

It was like $75 to do the floor to the trunk, with a small amount left over.. I'd guess about $100 worth of FatMat would do it.

Well I'm no math wiz but it certainly sounds like fatmat is a hell of a lot cheaper than even the wholesale pricing on hushmat. I've also been looking at Second Skin. I've been seeing where a lot of people have been recommending them. I'm hearing that Dynamat is very good but WAY overpriced. Looks like I'll be doing a lot more research on this before diving in. Thanks for the input.
