| I'm getting together ideas for future mods. I like the sound of both of these.
Some of the actual shots of JBA looks a lil weired & I thought I've read there may be a fit issue.
Flowmaster CB comes with orig 40 muffs & sound great. But I see a lot of Chargers actually go with the Super 44s & different Resos, uesually Magnaflows.
What everyone's idea here?

| I love Flowmasters. I have the Delta Flow 40s on my R/T and I removed the resonators. I love it! I havent heard the JBAs in person so I couldnt tell you how they sound. | |

| I have Magnaflo one of the quieter catbacks. But I do love the sound of the flowmaster! | |

| Yeah, there is something about that DEEP & low rumble of a Flowmaster. It's one of the only systems that make the Hemi sound different on start up. The JBAs sound nice but it sounds like stock amplified. Nice & loud, but not different. | |

| I haven't heard it in person but from the soundclips, I like the bassani exhaust.. Just throwing another option out there.. If you're stuck between the JBA and Flowmaster, I'd go Flowmaster.. | |

| well i can tell you first hand that the jba's are nice but... they were a little to raspy sounding for me and were not loud enough for me...
This is why i switched to the cherry bomb...

| Ok, with Flowmasters I see more Members who go with just the Super 44 mufflers w Magnaflow Reso or none at all instead of the Catback system. Anyone know the reason? | |

| Hmm... Have you heard the borla system on my car? I've never heard a louder R/T than mine that had didn't have cut outs. Personal experience.
Edit: Borla 125's of course
The cherrybomb is a much more controlled sound. I personally don't like it. it sounds like a caged animal.
Don't cage it. Unleash the beast.

| Well i would have to say although borla 125's are nice they are not the loudest... but they do sound good... and everyone has there own opinion as to what is loud...
Have you heard the extreme mufflers on an R/T???

| Very true Irish. Why haven't I seen you cruise around? You never take rt12?
IMO The Borla 125's sound the best for the R/T. The SRT has a different engine sound. I like the 125 borla on the R/T. Sounds beastly and looks incredible.

| Sorry... The flowmasters are just straight up too small. End of story. They look fine on a mustang/camaro, but look at what you're driving. The outlet is ... 2 inches?
Maybe for sound... But if you're going to go for TRUE sound / STYLE i would not get an exhaust that looks exactly like your stock exhaust.
Case in point. : http://tinyurl.com/lg43pk (125's)

| Also cherrybombs sound kind of cheap when they come back to an idle... There's this Ppphhhhfff
I know you need to get rid of all that shit you built up... but other exhaust systems seem to do it just fine.

| no you can get them up to i believe a 3.5 inch outlet... stock is 2.25 on an rt and a lot of the other exhausts that are running are 2.5 if i am remembering correctly i dont even have tips that come out i am dumped in front of the rear axle...i know it looks dumb for now but i am going to have the rear bumper filled so you wont even know that it wasnt supposed to look that way... | |
