Obviously there's a lot stirring inside you regarding your past dealings with law enforcement. I'm sorry about that. I really am. Hopefully at some level you'll agree that there are bad apples in every profession. The law Enforcement profession, like the clergy, teaching and medical professions all recruit from the human race- So therein lies the fallibility. People who shouldn't "get through," sometimes do.

In the end, I think, people usually get what's coming to them- Even dishonest cops.

Hopefully though, you hold a basic belief - as I do - that most people are basically good inside. That's why I try to do my best to let everyone I encounter ( whether I'm in Uniform or not ) to start a fresh rapport with me.

In return I hope I'm given the same opportunity....

I'm not sure what else I can say...I'm just a guy that likes cars and spending time with his family....

When I moved here from California last year the economy, as you know, was totally horrific ( and hardly anyone was hiring ).

As a matter of fact, most of the agencies I spoke to were trying not to lay people off, let alone do any hiring. However I got lucky when I was contacted by a small department south of Joliet ( Rockdale PD ). They had two Officers unexpectedly "move on " and were short handed. So they checked my references in Cali and then made me an offer.

How about yourself?? Where do you work, play and live ??
