lol. well i dont like to be the leader of the pack of people going over the limit since my truck stands out like a sore thumb. makes me a cop magnet. so I just pace people if I'm in a rush and there are others going faster. haha

that'd be pretty sick. Im actually lookin for your body style dakota. we just built a custom turbo kit for my buddy's ranger, and its quite freakin fast now, so i'm lookin to do that to one of them. but i'm lookin for a 4 banger 5speed. a lot more room in the engine bay to mess around with. lol. and the drop kit for my truck should be getting ordered here in the next few weeks.....hopefully. lol

Umm........I can just about stand in the fenders to change the plugs......and I have the 5.2......there's a bunch of room........I was gonna do a twin turbo, but Jon (jontoad) gave me his old powerdyne.......so I am doing that instead........

Go best of both worlds.......get a dakota, build it as a fast daily, and build the crap outta the ram..........

ha. well i seem to have a curse when it comes to vehicles. I am notorious for haveing nothing but problems with them. whether they be built or still stock. lol. so it makes me nervous to have a built daily.

well the ranger we just turbo'd is my buddy's only car, and we had no idea how well it would work out, since everything was custom done. but it seemed to work out great so far. pretty sure he'd rape my truck and his ranger is a 2.3l. lol already took out an
srt-4 and a turbo cobalt with three people crammed into his single cab truck. lol. and this weekend, if he comes back up from school, we're gonna run it against my truck and his mom's g8 gt. see how it does.

but with it being me, stuff will go wrong if i build it. lol. just cause its my vehicle. im cursed

Hmm.....oughta be interesting to see how it does against your truck.....I ran a 2008 1500 hemi a while back, and it was a dead even race...I wonder how much faster your truck is than a stock 1500?

probably not much at all. I have the 3.55 gear, which is a pig off the line. need to get the 4.10 in there, then i'll be able to do a lilttle better. but im sure you'd be dead even with me as well.

Is your truck manual? I saw you today right about 2:30 today, turning off of calumet onto 45th st. just looked like it could have been a manual truck.

yeah. i'm the manager. sucks, but hey. its a job. I''m training in web developement right now so i can just make my money online to pay the bills, and then go back to school and finish up the mechanical engineering degree.

and yeah, i hear ya on the shocks. I've replaced both front hub assemblys, and both lower ball joints, and my suspension still needs work. hence why im just going for the drop kit now. just change out everything. lol
