| Ha ha that is my fav mod. You know these Challengers have aluminum hoods? Todd installed them for me....I was at work that day, thank GOD! LOL WHEW he got them right! They look really good inside and out.
He took it to a dealer to quote install, they said $300 and can't guarantee the work. If they screw up the hood, we'd have to buy another one...like $2300 for the new hood. Todd said, um no! He'd do it himself. He trusted himself more than some dealer anyways. | |

| I was nervous as hell when i did my hood pins... turned out alright... when i get my new hood i will be doing a better job and getting a better striker plate also... | |

| I am looking into having a hood made as a one off.. i want a 4" cowl like on a pro street car...

| Not an aftermarket hood. Just an attempt to help it look closer to the 70's Challenger. Which is also why we moved the Challenger in the grille over closer to the R/T. When we put the emblems on, in the spring, we'll place them where they were on the 70's Challenger. Thanks for asking... P.S. and I just wanted the hood pins...hee hee | |

| Thanks everyone! We sure enjoy them. The 36 is Todd's retirement project. We are getting real close to towing one of them to IL this summer so we can have some fun in IL. Todd's brother hasn't seen the Challenger and only saw the GTX in the garage, since he came in Nov the one time. ..look for one, this summer, on a trailer near you... | |
