Looks like the rain is going to hold off to the evening now. Fingers crossed still.

Detour around the cheese castle.

As part of the I-94 N-S Freeway Reconstruction Project, WisDOT is reconstructing the WIS 142/Highway S ramps and mainline in Kenosha County. This work will also include reconstructing the NB exit and entrance ramps to I-94 in 2013. Please note that this project is immediately adjacent to the WIS 50 to WIS 158 construction project and will be coordinated accordingly.
From the North:

Take I-94 EAST (Southbound) and exit at Hwy E. Turn right (West) onto Hwy E, followed by a left (South) onto the West Frontage Road. Follow the West Frontage Road (South) to Mars Cheese Castle.
From the South:

No detour yet. Follow Normal routes: I-94 Northbound to Hwy 142. Stay posted for updates!


Does anyone that lives up that way have another suggestion for a meeting spot, or are you guys ok with this one still, or would you rather just meet at the track?

Also please post up if you are going and if you are meeting in Bensenville or Cheese Castle.

Would like a list so no one is left.

cheese castle..... and that detour only effects us when we are coming home... everyone coming from the south will be fine...

I'm going but I'll probably just see you guys at the track. Of course if I happen to find you on the road I'll join in, but I'll be rolling deep with two mustangs and an STi

Jeep will be done but she will not be ready to go down the track..... Have to fallow the tuners rules. I'll be doing some data logging on the way up and on the way home

From the 1st meeting spot its about an hour so I would ask everyone be at Mars by 8:45 and ready to roll out no later then 9 but more like as soon as we get there from the South. The track is only about 10 miles away by that point so we should get there right around 9 or a little after.

Their website talks about construction and detours but none from the south yet so I will keep checking and change up if we need to.
