| Hey everyone. Was wondering if anyone had electric cutouts installed on their charger. I've heard them online (youtube) but I'd like to hear them in person. Any input/ comments on the would be great. Thanks all! -Danny | |

| wow that was great! I'm already sold on buying some and I've done some research and it seems DHM is the way to go considering QTP are cheaper.
Thanks for the quick response everyone. If anyone else has them locally please post up!

| Is DMH the cutout brand? or the installer? or both? I was planning to have Twisted Pipes to do mine in the spring.
I wouldn't mind finding something a little closer to home.

| i had a QTP one on my Dakota R/T for a year or two. it had leaking problems. i have heard they have upgraded the design but i would still go with the DHM ones instead.
aren't the DHM ones low profile?

| I run Race Ready cutouts in my Ram. I put Quick Time on at first and pulled them right away. They leaked and made chatter. The RR are double sealed and work great. For me they pulled about a tenth off my 1/4 et.
I remove them in the winter and put block off plates in, I dont think salt and aluminum mix well...

| I have the DMH as well and I am extremely happy with them. They are low profile so it reduces the chance of scrapping or ripping them off (unless some dumbass installs them too low like they did on mine) The DMH also come with block off plates so you can take the cutouts off and block off the bracket on your exhaust during the winter so the cutouts dont get rusted. If you dont use the blockoff plates and leave the cutouts on, there is a 99.9% chance they wont work in the spring if you drive your charger all winter | |
