REC NAV disc read error

My REC radio NAV function is having issues. I'm getting a disk read error on the nav disk. I've cleaned it, blown caned air into the disk slot, etc. At first it helped, now it just errors out every time. Has anyone else had this issue? It's under extended warranty, so that's fine, I was just wondering if people see this to be more the radio and CD laser as the issue, or just the nav disk.

when I had the 6 disc player in mine....it would work with a cd then read error...then be fine then error...
but that was regular music cd's not nav disc... it may just be the factory units... I know they have alot of issues with them...all of em the single disc, the 6 disc, the nav systems..

I used to get that all the time. It came and went. It barely does it since I have the hack disk. I gotta make you a copy of it.

I too have gotten that same error. All I did was clean the disk on my shirt and haven't seen the error again.

I had that problem with the Hacked Disc. I just replaced my stock disc and never had that problem...weird.

Yeah it is common that's why I'm glad they went to my gig solved that issue.
