2010 SRT Experience

Yeah they don't care how long, as long as it has never been used up. It allows for 2 guests for $100.00 apiece. For that you can't drive, but you can ride shotgun.

I got a call today, from srt track experience to verify my info. I told her that I bought it used. She said that was ok.

Autobahn Country Club, Joliet on August 13, 2010 has been confirmed. You and your guest(s), if applicable, will join up to 40 other SRT owners for this exciting driving and learning experience.

Please wear comfortable clothing. You should also wear closed-toed shoes, no sandals will be allowed. Helmets will be provided. Please report to the track between [8:00-8:30 a.m. sharp] to register. Continental breakfast and lunch are included in your day.

The on-site registration area will be clearly marked. You must show a valid state issued driver's license in order to participate in this program. Your credentials and complimentary gift will be given to you at the event.

This event will be held rain or shine.

CANCELLATION POLICY: WE UNDERSTAND THAT PLANS CHANGE. YOU MAY CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION AND YOUR GUEST(S) REGISTRATION AT ANY TIME UP TO 14 DAYS BEFORE YOUR EVENT, WITH NO PENALTY. CANCELLATIONS RECEIVED AFTER THAT WILL BE CHARGED THE FULL REGISTRATION AMOUNT.

Not a bad idea. I just figured Friday might be less people and more driving time.

Its limited space anyway. so no matter when you go, there is going to be the same numer of people. I think they limit it to 20?? I just dont wanna take a day off, and its sounds like a real good way to spend a sunday. BTW, this other guy i know wants to go to the one by Milwaukee in september. but thats my vacation time, and I will be out of town.

I think I'm registered for the 15 but I need to double check

I just signed up for the SRT Track Experience in August. I figured id better hurry up and do it since it was included in the price of the car and expires after a year. Im going to the one at the Audobahn Country Club in Joliet. Has anyone ever been or know anyone that has gone? If so, how was it? Looks like a good time from the video.

Ok, I will try this. Worst they can do is say no.

I went to the very first one back in 06 I think, at the Arlington race track. But it was nothing like the ones they have now. I think back then it cost only 30 or so and you only got to drive in the parking lot with cones set up and make only 3 laps. And the viper had an instructor riding shotgun so it wasn't a whole lot of fun. The top speed we reached was like 40mph :-((. Besides it was raining that day too and we got to drift a little bit. The most fun was the crossfire, that thing handled like it was on rails.
Can't wait to do that again and for real this time.

Thanks for the merge. I thought i had seen a thread about this but im kinda slow and couldnt find it. Im goin to Audobahn on august 13th too. Ill be sure to bring the camera to take lots of pics to post.

So was mine, Eric. It just means they have to confirm ownership of the car. I had to fax them my proof of insurance and my registration. Actually they only require one or the other. Your in, don't worry. We should roll together down there. Maybe meet somewhere off of 90 before or at Woodfield or something.

Im up for a meet Tom. Maybe if you give us a fifteen minute head-start, we will get to the track around the same time.

Yeah we will have to figure out a good place to meet up and roll together.

Rats! I guess their office is just in my area! I was hoping some Mopar friends were headed this way!

Got an email from them today about faxing proof of ownership. Of course, I didn't drive my heap today because of the rain or I'd fax it from work.

How long after the faxing did it take for final approval?

It's pretty fast. An hour or less.
