imo, they shouldve done this with the charger daytona since thats what they were in 69. the challenger had nothing to do with nascar. its still a cool looking ride anyways

Love it. I agree...would like those rims to be aluminum, but love it all the same.

I think the wheels look like they are straight off a mattel hot wheels. They look cheap imo -

I'm not sure exactly what I think of this yet. Doesn't seem right to be on a Challenger.

The rims are weird and it kinda has like a I just got drunk smile on its face. Doesn't say mean, to me it says WHEEEE.

it kinda reminds me of one of those weirdo hot wheels they release once a year for who knows what reason...the shopping cart wing and those wheels just kinda plastic it up...

It has potential. WTF is under the nose? Looks like tape. Loose the Hurst Gold color. Paint it black, and put some decent chrome rims on it. Get a 6.4 in there.

Get rid of all the stick on crap. Change the wheels and the color. Lose the spoiler.

Otherwise...not bad! LOL

Definitely has the potential for something cool.. Would've done a lot differently though.. Good to see the effort I guess..

I agree. Get rid of the huge spoiler and the nose cone thingy and it would look pretty good.

I like it! Remember, in 70 when they came out with the original Superbird and Daytonas they were made just to satisfy NASCAR and were never planned to be a big seller. In fact most sat on dealers lots and ended up being sold the next year as "non-current" for well below sticker price.

I think the builders did a great job of recreating the concept. And since the Charger is now a 4 door I think doing it on the two door Challenger makes sense.

Would I buy one if MOPAR came out with it as a limited production model? I think I would (Assuming I was in the market for a week-end only toy) I bet it is a lot more impressive in person than in the pics.

Totally agree, Darrell. It wasn't meant to be a DD in '70 either. It was a showpiece to replicate a NASCAR. If I had the means, I'd get one for that reason if they made it. But probably in B5 blue (see my pick on p1) and w/out the nose cone graphics...and with better wheels.
