CAMM Fundraising Event for Cinco DeMopar @ Sonic

Every year we come together as a group and celebrate winter being over (hopefully) and raise money that we, as a club, donate at Cinco DeMopar and the two charities it represents.

This year we are chaning up the location and trying something new. Everyone in CAMM, and their families and friends, are invited to come out to this event. All makes and models of cars are welcome, as long as they are driven respectfully at the event. If you are doing burn outs, squealing tires,speeding, really anything that you should not be doing you will be asked to leave.

Sonic will be giving back a percentage of sales made the day of the event when our flyer is presented with your order. The flyer is being created and will be posted soon. Presenting this flyer with every order is the most important part of this day.

Looking to have a few raffle items again this year and do a 50/50 as well. Everything raised will go directly to Cinco DeMopar, CAMM will receive zero money from this fundraiser.

If you are participating in the bottle challenge you are welcome to give me your bottle that day as well.

This Sonic has both and indoor and outdoor seating area so keep that in mind, this will be a any type of weather event, unless the weather is dangerous.

Went shopping today, got these. Also the order I made online will be here next week so the last of the items will be posted then.

Flyer create and added to the first post. Please try to print one to bring with, I will have some with me though.

This event is getting closer. Everything is ready just have to decide if I am taking my car out of storage for it.

Might have a few more raffle items. Remember all money raised goes into our "coins for Cinco" challenge total. We are up against several other clubs to keep bragging rights of raising the most money.

Stopped by on Saturday to check out the lot. There are plenty of spaces along the front to park and also in between Sonic and Guitar Center. If you are going to back into a front spot just be aware the drive thru traffic goes through there. But do not think it will too much of an issue.

There is a light to get in and out of the parking lot. Car wash across the street as well.

Yes I am watching the weather and if anything changes with this event I will post up.

Watching the weather closely, not making the call yet but JUST IN CASE the weather does not look any better for this coming Sunday the event will be move to Saturday May 13th. I will make the call on Friday or Saturday.

Here is the plan for this event.

Date and time staying the same for Sunday I know its going to rain but the threat of horrible weather has dropped so we are going to stay with it.

We will NOT being doing the raffle or 50/50 drawing.  This is a come hang out if you want, eat (use the flyer so we get something from this), pick up your shirt(s), decals, and drop off your coins (or other money)  for the Cinco Coin Challenge if you are participating.

All the items for raffle will actually be with me since I have the Durango loaded up already so if there was an item you wanted we can talk, make a donation to Cinco and the item is yours.  All items left over from this event will be part of either the picnic this summer or the Superdawg Cruise In in October.

I will be there at noon in my Durango and will stay until event is over at 4 .

Please do not feel obligated to come if the weather is less than ideal, the last thing I want is for anyone to get hurt or their car to get damaged.  All makes and models are still welcome.  Please park in one of the spots up front (not at a speaker) and we will gather inside (so glad I picked one with an indoor eating area).

Thank you to everyone that made it out today. Shockingly good turnout for the crap ass weather we were dealt. Have done a quick count of the cash from today and in the bottles and jars and wow just wow. And the amount of coins, more wows.

Yep only things left is most of the stuff in the wash bucket and the Super Bee sign.

Already have the numbers back from Sonic, between that and the cash that people donated or shoved into their bottles we are already over $800.
