Midwest Dodge Charger and Modern Mopar Muscle Show

New for this year. Normally on the Saturday of Belvidere there is the Charger show.  CMC would like to expand this show into a show for the modern Mopars.  They are working on classes, awards, and a lot of different things.  Will have the opportunity to stay overnight at nearby hotels and an event after the show on Saturday is in the works as well.

For anyone that has been out to the Chicagoland Mopar Connection Belvidere show in the summer you know its a two day show, 1st day has the annual Mid West Charger show. This year they are trying out something new.

The show on the first day is going to be the Charger show AND a new Modern Show. The second day will still be all years. When you pay the $15 entrance fee that is for all weekend so you are paying for two shows for less than what some shows charge for one day. And if you have a Charger you are actually getting 3 shows for that price.

If you want to stay out there and hit up both days they do have two host hotels set up already and activities for Saturday nights are being planned. But what is better than a hotel parking lot car show!

Since this is something new they are trying out they are going to need a large turnout to make it keep going. I think it is great that CMC is reaching out to the moderns so we need to return the favor by showing up big.

If you are interested in attending please post up so we can kinda of get an idea of how many CAMM cars are going to make it out.

We will be leaving at 830 am to head over to the show so arrive before then.

Would like to roll in together. If you are coming later we probably will not be able to hold spots.

There is a Starbucks near here if anyone wants to stop there first.

Confirmed, there will be a club participation award given out. So since this is in our backyard we need to be the ones to win it for the first time y'all think?

Bumping this as a reminder, I have offered up supplying breakfast for the group for anyone that comes out Saturday morning.

CAMM has taken home best club at the CMC Bartlett show and the CMC Fox Lake show so now I kinda wanna go for the triple this year.

Also anyone coming to this if you are willing to bring an ez up/ pop up tent please let me know. The more shade the better at this show.

BTW, pre-registration closes on July 12th!

Right now I said both days but I still get tired easy so it might just be Saturday for me.

If you pre-reg you get the dash plaque I'll only be there on Saturday also.

Making the call now, pushing back meeting spot time just a bit to leaving at 830 am instead of 8 am. I think we will be clear weather wise, but just want to allow a bit more time for those travelling to make the drive.

Rain is the least of the worries. Its the solid stuff people are freaking out about but I have seen no reports of that coming Sat, just today.

Made it to the stores and back before the storm started so thankful for that. Now I guess I can share what is on the menu.

Sorry there is only like 2 healthy things on here, middle of a field does not call for egg whites.

- mini blueberry muffins
- mini chocolate chip muffins
- doughnut holes (3 kinds)
- plain, blueberry, cinnamon raisin, and everything bagels and there will be cream cheese
- banana bread (I made)
- apple bread (I made, its paleo friendly no white sugar or white flour)
- fresh fruit
- green tea (sweetened)
- orange juice
- diet pepsi
- water

All of this is open to anyone in our group until it runs out.
Please make it run out I don't want to haul any of it home.

I will have it set up as soon as we get in and get settled so I would say between 9 and 915 you can come raid the tent. Just give me time to set up, that gives you time to clean your car.

Lots of hardware went to CAMM homes yesterday. Including best club.

Most of the CAMM turnout, the Bee next to me was in my class but not in CAMM. Nice guy though. Rest of the pics are in the album.
